Please join our School Counselors in celebrating Sope Creek Elementary School’s very first College Day on Tuesday, May 17th! As part of our College and Career Readiness plans, and in addition to our career lessons, we will be spending time discussing what happens between high school and actually getting that job or career. We are seeking guest speakers who can talk with our upper grade students about college readiness. If you are a college student or professor, in graduate or vocational school, an alumni representative or recent college graduate, a member of the armed forces, or someone who has an important message to share about college and career readiness, please send your name and contact information to your child’s teacher or grade level counselor. Also, keep an eye out for an invitation with more information after Spring Break.
