The Sope Creek PTA would like to honor all veterans and active duty military. We would love for you to invite any family member, neighbor, friend etc that you would like to honor.

If they are not able to attend, but you would still like to come and pay tribute to them and all of the other veterans, we would love to have you.

Also, if you can, please email us a picture of your veteran and a little bit about them, even if you are not able to attend. (If we got a picture from you last year, we will use those again this year for our slide show).

Activities During Week 12

This week was lots of fun! Below you will see our bats we created. We read the book Stellaluna and retold the beginning, middle, and end. We carved a pumpkin and wrote a how-to story. We also used the pumpkin seeds for a math activity! We learned about magnets and had fun experimenting with what items in the classroom were attracted to a magnet and which items repealed. Everyone looked super awesome in their character costumes! We had fun sharing our book projects too.

Conference Week

Even though this week was super short due to early release and conferences, we still had lots of fun learning! Check out the food art we completed with our school gardener, Ms. Brown. She was so sweet to use her own resources of providing fruit for these students to have fun learning!
