Back in 2012, the Socials committee of the Foundation Board was searching for a new idea for an event that would bring Sope Creek Families together. As food trucks were gaining in popularity, it was decided that the Foundation would put on a 'Family Fun Night' in the back of the school with food trucks and music. Since then, our Family Fun Nights have gained in popularity, and other schools have followed suit with similar food truck events.
All of the Foundation's social events - Family Fun Night, Holiday Gift Exchange, Father/Daughter Dance, and (coming soon) a Mother/Son event - have the primary purpose of community; these events are completely optional with the goal to provide an event at the lowest possible price to be affordable to all students and parents.
Alternatively, the Check it Off Campaign is our one-and-only true fundraiser this year. We are hoping we can count on your support to make a minimum donation of $75 per child, if you haven't done so already.
